I built this guitar/mandolin to solve the problem of needing to switch between guitar and mandolin in the same song/tune. You can have these made or if you're lucky you can find a vintage Moserite, Gibson or EKO.
I couldn't wait so I used a telecaster Custom and an FM61E Fender mandolin that I happened to have. I built the 2nd one using a Custom 72 re-issue.
